About Me

After more than a decade overseeing digital content for Dr. Phil McGraw, Rachael Ray and Katie Couric, I now work primarily as a ghostwriter for nonfiction books. From writing proposals to editing manuscripts, I collaborate with authors through every step of the creative and publishing process. My expertise is in the lifestyle, self-help, parenting and health spaces.

Whether a client has only a kernel of an idea as the springboard for a proposal or a completed manuscript that needs a discerning eye, I become immersed in their voice and vision. For some projects, I work independently; for others, we craft nearly every word as a team. I’ve written books almost entirely over text messages with the expert; I’ve also camped out in a client’s garage for marathon in-person sessions. Tapping into my industry relationships, I’ve secured representation for some authors; I’ve also been brought in at the eleventh hour with a top publishing house attached.

Most recently, I co-authored Family Values: Restore Trust, Boundaries and Connection with Your Child (S&S/Simon Element, 2022) and collaborated on the the best-selling Fair Play: A Game-Changing Solution for When You Have Too Much to Do (and More Life to Live) by Eve Rodsky (Penguin Publishing Group, 2021). I worked closely with Dr. Phil McGraw on his O: The Oprah Magazine advice columns for many years, and was on his editorial team for his bestselling The 20/20 Diet: Turn Your Weight Loss Vision Into Reality and Life Code: The New Rules for Winning in the Real World.

I am also a freelance writer whose work has appeared in The New York PostMarie ClaireSeventeenLos Angeles magazine, The Jewish Journal, The Jewish WeekNewsdayTango and other publications. I graduated with honors from University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. Formerly a Valley Girl, I now live in New York City with my husband and three red-headed kids. I am represented by Madeline Morel of 2M Communications.
